Monday Update.

Saturday...

3:30pm
Got a phone call on the way down to Salem RV show from Mom.
Mom:"hey, little brother." (that's what i'm known as at home... in taiwanese.)
Me: "yea?"
Mom: "where you at?"
Me: "I'm driving to Salem right now."
Mom: "oh... we bought a condo."
Me: (silence) "oh... good."

Hai: looks at me with his sleepy eyes.
Me: "my parents just bought a condo."
Hai: "oh... good."

12am... ish.
We're dancing on the dance floor in the club and i felt a hand reached down my butt. I turned around and there was this black lady looking at me.
Me: (a bit confused and somewhat shocked... and not turned on at all.) "umm... can i help you?"
Black Mama: "Oh~ your shirt came out, i was just helping you tucking it in." (smile)
Me: "oh... thx."

If i weren't a skinny asian-man i'd say that she was hitting on me. but i am, and i'm scared. i just got molested by Black Mama. and let me tell you, she tucked it in the inner pants, and yes, there was skin contact.

Sunday...
10am
Back at the Salem RV show again... I decided that this will be the last RV show i do.

4pm
The condo is surprising spacious, it's bigger than our current house. located in Clackmas, next to the 3 par golf-course, which i have unlimited access too. They're building a outdoor mall down the block and looks like a really decent place. Hmm... i guess i'll stay w/ my parents for a little while. Always wanted to live in a condo... downtown.

9pm
finished watching 6 episoles of 24... season 4! yea, i'm catching up.

Monday
4:45pm
The employee at Wendy's looks at me with a smile while he refills my drink. And as he was handing my coke to me he says,
Wendy's dude: "nice tux."
Me: "Thank YOU!"

don't know why i said it that loud. but i was thinking..
"it's a suit, you stupid."

Later he came by and clean some table next too me. we made eye contact a few times and he tried to stirr up some coversation...

If i weren't straight i'd say Wendy's hitting on me. but i am, and i'm scared. I just got visually undressed by a mexican in Wendy's.. but the real crime behind all this is that he thought i was wearing a tux... A TUX??? man, i'm calling the fashion police. Perhaps he's not gay afterall.

6:45pm
I gave up the wait for my big fish... Got no-showed by them again... AHHHH! it kinda sucks a bit.

11:30pm
I burnt my popcorn.

beep. beep. beep. beep.

this is not spell checked... 'cause i'm too lazy. learn to love it.

On a happy note. i've showered twice in the last 16 days... yes guys, i am that lazy. and yes ladies, i can bottle up some of me musk for your smelling pleasure. it's okay, this one's on me.

Work Rant... Poop Fairy.

Recently i've developed this inconvenient habit of pooping at work. I'm not sure when it started, but now it's almost like a daily routine. I think it first started because i thought it was a great way to get away from all the craziness at work. My 15... 30 minutes of relaxation where i can just be alone, chill, and focus on my business. It was wonderful. Now, it's getting more and more inconvenient.

I NEED my privacy while i'm taking care of my business, and i hate it when someone walks in and interrupts me while i'm in the process of making magic. So i take the necessary measure to ensure my privacy. There are 4 different bathrooms in the complex that's available to us, one right outside the office, one below the office, one all the way down the hall, and at last, one downstairs and all the way down the hall. I''ll give you one chance to guess which one I use for my workshop.... Yep, you got it. It's the one down stairs and all-the-way down the hall! it's a walk, but it's worth it. Why you ask? well for several key reason... 1) chances of running into co-worker... slim. 2) due to the location, the whole magic-making process takes longer, thus more alone time for david. But most importantly, 3) there's always reading materials there. and reading material while baking = heavenly.

I don't know where it comes from, where it's been, or how it get there. But you can count on the sports section of USA Today being in the John on a daily basis. and if you're lucky, maybe the Life section, and sometimes even the front page! I know... just wonderful. even tho it's a short time, but it's like for that 15...30 minutes of the day, all is well and there's peace on earth. it's magical.

However, I think the words getting out, 'cause back in the days (6 months ago) there be hardly anybody at that stall. But recently, it's been the most popular one. Thus making it quite inconvenient, 'cause I already develop this habit, but now, there's no outlet... I feel like i'm a crack whore going thru withdraw...

The other day, actually, it was quite late in the evening. I had the urge to unleash my greatness. So i took the walk of shame down to my favorite workshop only to be disappointed. All the tee-pee were used up! That's quite rare cause they refill it everynight, and they put in TWO rolls. And the worst of it was that the sports page were gone! So, feeling defeated, I walked back down the walk of shame to the bathroom below the office thinking that it would be another unsatisfied trip to the babymaker. But to my dismay, it was the exact opposite. In there, I found joy and happiness because someone (the Poop Fairy) had transport the newspaper down the hall to this bathroom! Muh-hahah, all is well again and there was much rejoicing in the world. I guess great minds think alike.

So... you're probably thinking to yourself "I can't believe I just wasted 15 minutes of my life reading about someone's crap." while hitting your head with your left hand and cutting your wrist with your right. For that, i apologize. I guess what i'm trying to say, and the moral of all this greatness is that... sometimes we create habits in our life because it's comfortable at the time. however, over time, many of these habit becomes harmful in our lives and quite frankly, inconvenient. And if you let it go, thinking that all will be okay and that you'll just grow out of this, you're just kidding yourself. There's only four bathrooms, for like... 100 guys, and the secret is out. It's time to leave behind what's holding you back, and move on. No pun intended. Don't let your crap get the best of you!

crap i leave with you...

this is way-cool, over and out!

reasons why girls fall head over heels over david #27:
"... the poop from the cow gives nurturance to the grass, and the the sheep feeds on the grass, the wolf feeds on the sheep, the hunter hunts the wolf, that provides dinner to the laboring wife, so the baby can survive and grow up to be the one that discover the cure of cancer, thus giving life. So poop = life. And if that were the case, David's got enough life in him to be crowned the LifeMaker."

i don't know where i come up with these ridiculous stuff...

Seek ye first...

"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these should be added onto you." We've all heard this saying before (or something along that line). How simple are these words of instruction, but yet, how deep is its understanding, and even more, how hard is it to follow? There are really two parts to this commandment, and which one of them is the stopper for you?

Is it really that hard to seek Him? to give in, saying that there is one true God, one that is the source of this universe, one that is the creator of all things, and one that is... in control of everything. Ahh, to surrender your control... or perhaps, your illusion. What would that be like?

Or is the latter part the hardest? to seek ye... FIRST. As in above all else. Above your video games, your homework, your friends, beer, fondling, your grades at school, your career, family, wife... your son. Now i'm not a family man (thank goodness), but picture yourself having to choose between your daughter, one whom you've nicknamed"angel", and the kingdom of God. What would that be like?

The greatest gift that God has ever given us is our ability to make our own decisions... and yet sometimes i wish i never received that gift. Then maybe, just maybe.. I won't feel so much like peter... Because even the best fall down sometimes. And even the stars refuse to shine. Out of the back you fall in time. I somehow find, you and I ... COLLIDE! haha! yea... smooth, i know.

Take what you can out of it, if it's just a smile then... so be it.

On the plus note, things are looking up in the life of yours truly...

1. it snowed. and snowed.. and snowed some more. which meant a four day weekend for me.
2. i've recovered my bible, it was at my desk all along. I discovered it while I cleaned my desk two days ago. Now i can actually see the surface of the desk, and it's wood.
3. my desk is clean.
4. i'm trying to be on-time more often to all events, and i must say, so far.. it's been good. Last week started out a bit rough, but overall it was the earliest i've been in the office on a weekly average. However, because now i get in just late enough for my managers and mentors to notice, I am now in more trouble then ever. My manager had announced last week that he will now personally call me in the mornings to make sure i get in on time. Luckily, he has not done so yet, but he will... oh he will.
5. we, as a family, finally finished our tube of toothpaste. Thus letting us to buy a new tube a toothpaste... but not just any new tube of toothpaste, but one that actually tastes like toothpaste and not vanilla. which i disliked very much.
6. there is white rice again! yes, rejoice! For sometime now our family has been eating out of brown rice because my mom thinks it's better for the body, and there are some beans and nuts in it that are suppose to be good for the body... I hated it. and now, its gone. so all is well again. let the rejoicing begin!

On the downside...

I was scratching my butt cheek today and i smell my hand afterwards... it smells like butt.

I think it's time for a shower.

Drive.

Back in high school i used to be a pretty decent runner at the time. And by pretty decent i mean, pretty DAMN decent. I was the self-proclaim fastest asian in the state with a big gap between me and the runner up. And by no means did I accomplish this by my God given talent alone. It took that, and faith, and lots and lots of sweat. I was quite dedicated to my team and practice, as well as determined to do the very best that i can. And i did. or so i thought...

there are 2 levels of runners (joggers not included). The first level of runner runs on pure strength and physical ability, this is the foundation, the very basic of the sport. If you were to be successful at anything, you have to put in work and the sweat to put yourself in a position to be somebody. And this is the first step, it's the easy step, 'cause all it takes is a determined mind and lots of hard work. The second level however, takes so much more. It's not about the physical part because the body can only carry you so far, then the rest is all mental. Level II runners has this drive, this crazy drive. That'll kick in when all you feel is pain in your legs, and your head is dizzy from lack of blood, when your body has calmed down from the rush that carried you this far and when the finish line seems like miles away and there is no way in hell that you can keep up with the current pace of the pack. When all hope seemed lost and defeat is evitable, this is when your mind takes over your body and carries it to the next level. And that, is what separates a level II runner from a level I, or a decent runner from a great runner. And that, is what kept me from going to state with the 800 meters.

I'm not much of a guy that makes new year resolutions... mainly because i thought it was like an american thing. you know, it's not asian like. I guess it's because when in taiwan, we have 2 new years, 1st of the year and the lunar new year. And really the big celebration is the lunar new year, 'cause that when the family get together and pass out the red envelope to us (aka, it's the one day of the year that we can paid.) However, if i were to have a new year resolution, this would be it...

First, I want to have drive. I've been passive all my life for too long. the perseverance is there, but there is no drive, no fire, and lack of passion. I still don't know what my passion is, but God willing, this year, I'm gonna be driven. My engine's gonna be pushed hard even if i don't know where i'm going. 'cause a mustang is just too pretty to be kept in the neighborhood zone. it'd be a shame, it's time to head on the highway.

Second, I want to fix my lateness problem... 'cause it's getting out of hand. people expect me to be late now. if i show up on time, they actually make a big deal out of it. and i'm just tired of it, and it's not good business practice.

Third, I'm gonna take on more responsibility. Starting with the basic chores at home. I want to start contribute more, be more independent, and take on more financial responsibilities.

Four, I'm gonna quit clubbing.

Five, I'm gonna be very lenient on number four.

Six, I'm gonna be more bad ass... in a good way. like the King David way. King David was the man of men, the king of kings. Confident at heart, Bad ass to the core, and a leader of a nation. But most importantly... he's a man after the Lord's heart. And That's gonna be me.

...'cause girls likes that.

Yep yep, that sounds about right... we'll see how that goes.

on another note... finally saw the pursuit of happyness today. by myself self if i might add. (sometimes david goes to the theather by himself... just sometimes, not all the time.... really, he does have friends.) Anyways, was planning on writing something about that and Rocky B. 'cause they're both two very ... positive films. but somehow it felt like anything i wrote would be short of the feeling that i've exprience from these two movie and that no words can do justice. so thus, in lack of better words from yours truly, go and read jason ma's blog. 'cause it pretty much sums it up quite well. enjoy and go see the movies.

sad news of the day:
i don't know where my bible is...
and Seabass is no longer with us... (tear).

Seabass: gl and best to you kid. you'll be alright, and we'll always be here. that's promise, and with time you'll see.
