What do you mean the final's at 6 and not 7pm?

time: tuesday morning. 5-ish
sleep count: haven't slept since last update, think i'll take a 3 hour nap sometime this morning
status: feel like a squirrel out looking for nuts on a winter day, just gotta get it done.
morale: gotta find me some nuts.
count down to first final: T-minus 9 hours (i'll explain later)

Yay! 70% done with the first paper! and it didn't disappear this time! yippy. should be able to finish it by tomorrow night, which is a good thing, 'cause i really need to start on my second paper. I think that paper will take around 20-30 hours.... yikes. I just realized that i spent 12 hours on this paper so far already, it'll probably end up to be a 18 hour paper. fun...

So yea, kinda missed my final today. You know finals week is not finals week without missing or being late to at least one of your finals, good thing that i got that covered. it's all good tho, i'll just take it tomorrow at the other section or something. should work out just fine. but while we're on that topic, here's some pro's and con's to not making it to your final.

Pro
  1. You know what You got on your final before anyone else does. Not even the teacher!
  2. I am already prepared for the final if, excuse me, WHEN i to take it in 9 hours.
  3. instead of sweating under the spotlight trying to guess between a, b, c, or all of the above. i went home, ate dinner and watched the world baseball classic. coodles to japan and ichiru for being #1 in the world.
  4. It is very cool. big badass points if you were in high school 'cause everyone will think that you're a rebel and you're too cool for school~
  5. everytime you miss or are late to a midterm/final it increases your chill factor. i am very chill.

Con
  1. you are not in high school.
  2. it cannot look good on your transcript. i'm pretty sure about this one.
  3. one more thing on my small mind.
  4. .....

on the plus side, i read my bible today.

hmm...it seems like there aren't that many con's out there for missing your final. yea. in fact the pro's win out 5 to 3. so there you go ladies and gentleman. for all you who are soooo stress about your finals that you're about to shit your pants, you know who you are, don't try to hide behind the tee-pee, yea, i see you... right. for all you peeps, i think it'll be best if we all take a chill pill and just slow down a bit. 'cause really if you think about it, it is just a test... words on a paper. instead, let us focus on what matters more, like reading your bible. yay, bible funniest. ok. i'm gonna stop now, sorry for rambling(=&*(#&$.

i feel the need to read a lot more.

the calm before the storm

time: monday, 5:07pm
sleep count: 4 hours this morning
status: indifferent
morale: it's almost time to kick ass
count down to first final: T-minus 112 minutes

hmm... i should be cramming right now. There is a slight chance that i might not pass this class... no, impossible. The only class i'll fail this term is salsa, and that is that. do-do-lu~ But i really should be cramming right now.

Another all nighter last night, spent must of the night typing up this paper, only to have it wipe out of my computer in the morning... sad. I sat in front of the computer exhasted around 8 this morning, in disbelieve, and somewhat in shock. knowing that i'll have to re-do hours of sweat dripping, fist-pumping hard work. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! stupid paper.

excited for spring break. looking too far ahead. hmm. i should be cramming right now.

Dead week update #2

currently listening: Tong Hua

time: day 3 - day 4
sleep count: too many... got 10hrs last night so that puts me at... 22 hours
status: eating late dinner/ early breakfast. well. like a bundle of dorky joy.
morale: joyfully heading for doom
count down to first final: T-minus four days and 11 hours

Yay for food. food is great. rice is awesome. I'm cutting down on the energy drinks for a few days, i think it's a bit early to live off caffine energy, don't want to burn out prematurely or anything. So thus, i'm having a beer instead. Yip yip, nothing like chicken-rice bowl over a can of coors at 3 in the morning. dont' blame me, it's the way of the college life.

What's today... wednesday? Took a shower tonight for the first time this week. been too busy and stuff, waking up too late for shower or breakfast. it's not cool when you wake up at 1:40 and your class is a 2pm... it's just rough man, rough. Good news, the dead week beard is back. yaya. i think i'm getting better at my beard growing skills, 'cause connie commented it last night and it had only been one day! before long i'll have a 6 inch beard coming out of my chin, with hair think and long enough for me to hide my cheat notes in them. my master plan is slowly unfolding.

thursday to-do lists:
1. pay over-due credit card bill
2. turn in late work time-card
3. call my employer and remind them that i'm still alive
4. attend last dance/yoga class.
5. talk to the instructor about dropping salsa I, instead of failing it.
6. grow some wings so i won't have to run to class anymore. connie mentioned that in all her college career she has never seen someone run to class before... i do it about twice a week.

ding. you are now free to fly anywhere within the U.S. enjoy!

Dead week update

Time: End of day 1
Sleep Count (week): 4 hours
Status: Holding on strong. Tired.
Morale: encouraging
Count down to first final: T-minus 6 days, 16 hours.

Grocery Shopping
went shopping for groceries today. a much needed task that had been put off for the last 2 weeks. It got really desperate of late when we ran out of toilet paper and had to use paper towels as substitutes. sorry connie...hehe. that's rough!

The Poop
Had to poop at the MU today, due to lack of supplies... usually the experience at MU is quite good because the bathrooms are kept fairly clean and there are many selections of toilets to choose from. However, today's experience was not nearly as satisfying due to unexpected guests. Public pooping takes a lot of skills and considerations. skills because you have to train yourself to take care of your business in a reasonable time frame so that ppl won't think you have a digested problem and thus embarrassing yourself. considerations because there are a lot of factor that goes into the pooping equation than one might not give credit for. these factors includes: location, expected type of poop, estimated stinkyness of poop, bathroom cleaniness, budgeted poop time, and etc. The list just goes on and on, especially if there are another human soul in the bathroom with you at the time, it just brings another dimension and complicates things, and sometimes ruining it. This was the case today at the MU, I was in the middle of taking care of my business, things were going smoothly as planned, when this "unwanted factor" entered the room, not only did this "factor" enter, he came here planning to release his own brown bundle of joy as well. But not only was he here to release his bundle of joy, out of all the other 4 stalls, he "un-kindly" choose the stall right next to me, thus causing me stress and anxiety to perform. Grrrr! the nerves of this guy. Ruining my well planned out release. I ended up finishing the job prematurely and leaving the place unsatisfied. grr, better luck next time.

reasons why girls fall head over heels over david:
#34, When wanted to, David can lash out his manliness and all its glory in a fraction of a second, and thus, mesmerizing all the surrounding ladies with his greatness and awe.
disclaimer: this is a very powerful technique that David rarely uses, not because of the lack of ability, but for the sake of all the surrounding ladies and their fragile hearts.

yay for prettyman!

currently listening: canon in d (my sassy girl)

Tristan Prettyman

The concert was amazing... She is sooo good with that guitar. man, few more years and maybe i'll be like that. Down to earth kinda girl, real chill, real nice. overall fun gal. and it didn't hurt that we were standing so close to the stage, i could literally leap out and touch her, she's like 5 feet away from where i was standing! crazy close. Here's one of her song "always feel this way", enjoy!

Dead week is here!
The time has come. No more excuses, no more procrastination, it's get it done or get an F. So join with me brothers and sisters, as we unite and stand strong in the mist of this challenge that is ahead of us. Say is with me now, "Rest is for mortals, I am a machine!"
__
Feeling Down?
Whenever I feel down, i like to waste time and watch a movie by myself. With some popcorn, perhaps a beer, and maybe some chips or whatnots. I found that it relaxes me and helps me focus on the real important things in life, like saving the world from an killer asteroid the size of Texas. I watched Armageddon on TBS today, one of the few movies that makes a grown man cry. or maybe just me... But it's times like that we re-focuses on life and all its goodness and glory, forgetting our worries and stress, and lifting our spirits up high. Or, prayer also helps as well, espcially if you pray for each other in a group prayer, those are powerful.

Thinking about painting my nails... just for the heck of it.
__
Reasons why girls fall head over heels for David #37:
David thinks like a girl, sometimes acts like a girl, and often looks like a girl. so it's really like going out with your best friend, which is every girls dream come true.

Lost in Transition

Currently listening: Delicate, by Damien Rice

I got a job.
with First Investors. will be working as a personal finance advisor/planner type come June. It's a pretty sweet position, get to help ppl with their money and get paid for it. there's a catch however, it's 100% commision based, so no clients = no bacon. The first year is gonna be rough, but once i get past it, it should be okay. met some of the co-workers, they're pretty cool, fun, easy to get along with... this is it. after school comes work. at least they get to play a lot.

Once one gets a job, school pretty much become... not as important anymore. yea. hmm... yea.

Don't think you'll ever read this... but this is how i feel whenever i'm around you. (words provided by the girl with the pretty cool name - Dido)
The closer you get, the better I feel
The closer you are, the more I see
Why everyone says that I look happier
When you're around
The closer you get, the better I feel.

Quote of the day
"umm... i think my car's rollling down your driveway."
- me, when my car's rolling down heami's driveway. it's okay, no scratches or anything, car hit a curb, bounced back, and eventually came to a stop... lucky me.
