update

Helloooo Friends!!

boy, it's been awhile... sorry about the long departure.

The house is finally finished!!! Well… kinda of. For those of you who didn’t know, I’ve been remodeling my parents house for the past 2 months, slaving away trying to make the place look new. We throw out everything that isn’t new, and what we didn’t throw out we made it new again. Now, I’m no carpenter but I’d say we did a pretty decent job. If the job market is bad out there, at least now I know that I can always try flipping houses. All that’s left of the house now is a little touch up here and there, and some decorative touch would probably help as well. Anyone out there looking for a house?? Anyone??

As for the future, today is officially the fourth day of my job searching, and it's not going very fast. it's going quite slow actually... how slow? well... let me break it down to statistics:

jobs applied: zero
interview set up: nada
interview taken: zip-zappo!
# of firms to hear back from: 0.00

So it's going slow, but eh... i figure things will pick up once i updated my resume. yea, that'd probably help. I'll get on it first thing monday. Why monday you ask? 'cause i'm going to SF tomorrow!!! muh-hahah. well, actually, we're leaving in 4 hours. yes, i know the post will state that this was posted sometime in the afternoon. but i assure you, it is now 12:34am. and we're leaving at 5am. i should get some sleep.

So here's a quick update, just wanted to let you all know that i'm alive. and if i hadn't lost my camera, i'd take picture this weekend by the bay just to prove it. but since i did, it's bad tomatoes for you all. sorry!

to make up for it, i'll try to post more next week? until then, don't sweat too much.

Today when i was painting, 2 ants fell into my paint bucket. I tried to save it but it was too far gone. I think they're now a part of the fascia on the house. somehow i feel responsible...poor ants.

Also today i learned that one of my eye is bigger than the other one. yes, i have eyes that don't match! oh the humanity... poor me.

that's all that happened today. yep. my life is slow...
