Sunday 3am:
hour later (4am) - we left for Bend, OR.
hours later ( 7am)- arrived at Bottom of South Sister, Devils Lake Trailhead.
hours later (9am) - we climbed thru the treelines.
1/2 hours later (1:30pm) - we pull ourselves up thru the snow field and made it to the "pointy gray rock". Only to realized that we're just half way up.
hours later (3pm) - I made it to the summit. The real one.
hours later (4pm) - Simon made it to the top.
hours later (5pm) - we started our descend.
hours later (9pm) - made it back to our car.
hours later (2am) - home. body aches, skin burns, knee hurts, leg sore. One mighty mountain down.
hours later (3am) - rest... forever.
Brought a cuban cigar to celebrate at the top. Sadly, the air was too thin for matches to burn... next time i'll pack fireworks.
